The Taber Inne is conveniently accessible from several major airports. T.F. Green Airport in Providence, RI is approximately 45 minutes away. Bradley International Airport in Hartford, CT is about 1 hour away. LaGuardia and JFK airports in New York are approximately 2-2.5 hours away depending on traffic. Boston Mass Logan Airport is approximately one hour and forty five minutes away. Tweed New Haven CT airport is also close by.

Yes! One of our best features is our walkable location. You can easily walk to downtown Mystic, the Mystic Seaport Museum, the Amtrak train station, and Williams Beach. Our central location in Historic Mystic Village means you can explore the area without needing a car once you arrive.

The Taber Inne is within easy walking distance of Mystic Seaport, one of the nation’s leading maritime museums. It takes just a few minutes to walk from the inn to explore the historic ships and 19th-century seafaring village.

Mystic Aquarium is approximately 2 miles from The Taber Inne, about a 5-minute drive. While it’s a bit too far to walk comfortably, it’s very close and easy to reach by car or taxi.

We offer six distinct types of accommodations to suit different needs: Cavan House units in our historic 1829 building with queen beds, two-person Jacuzzis, and private balconies; Wexford House luxury one-bedroom suites with four-poster canopy and sleigh queen beds, Jacuzzis, fireplaces, and sitting areas; Waterford Suites, our spacious two-floor, two-bedroom townhouses with fireplaces and wet bars; Standard Rooms with king or double beds; East Wing luxury rooms with king beds, fireplaces, and whirlpools; and Carriage House single-floor, two-bedroom units with Jacuzzis, fireplaces, and private patios.

For a romantic getaway, we recommend our Wexford House luxury suites or East Wing rooms. Both feature romantic amenities including fireplaces, two-person Jacuzzis or whirlpools, and intimate settings. The Wexford House units also include beautiful four-poster canopy beds and sitting areas perfect for couples.
Yes! The Waterford Suites are perfect for families, featuring two bedrooms, two bathrooms, and two floors with separate living areas. Yes, all accommodations at The Taber Inne include private bathrooms. Our two-bedroom suites (Waterford Suites and Carriage House) each have two full bathrooms for added convenience.

Select accommodations include wet bars and microwaves. The Waterford Suites feature a wet bar and microwave on the first floor, and the Carriage House includes a microwave and bar area. While we don’t offer full kitchens, these amenities provide convenience for light food preparation.

The Mystic YMCA is premier work out facility within a short walk charging a small fee to our guests. The walkable location also makes it easy to explore Mystic on foot for a great workout.

Reservations must be cancelled at least 2 days in advance to receive a full refund, minus a $25 cancellation fee. Cancellations made on the same day as the reservation are non-refundable. We recommend reviewing our full cancellation policy when booking.
Yes, one full day’s deposit is required on all reservations to secure your booking.

No, The Taber Inne does not allow pets. We maintain a pet-free environment for all guests.

Yes, there is a 2 and 3-night minimum stay requirement on weekends from May through October and on holiday weekends throughout the year. Other times may have different requirements, so please check when booking.
